With the end of the Fall semester approaching, you may be wishing you had the opportunity to squeeze in another class before the Spring semester beings to advance your degree plan or give a boost to your Grade Point Average (GPA).
If you are a student wishing to take some additional courses or need to boost your cumulative grade for scholarships or other campus programs, ENMU offers several credits available for students to earn between the Fall and Spring semesters.
The Executive Secretary for Academic Affairs, Karen Van Ruiten, says that there is one more course available to take for this upcoming winter semester than there have been in previous winter sessions.
“The purpose of these offerings to help students acquire additional hours to maintain scholarships or improve GPA. Last fall there were three courses offered, this fall the addition of ENG 211 has been made,” Van Ruiten said.

Registration for these courses began on November 17, 2016. Classes will begin on Wednesday, December 14, and the last day to drop or add classes is December 19. Students will be able to withdraw from classes until January 4, 2017.
If students’ hours stay between 12 and 18 total credits, no additional tuition is due to be paid to the university. Online course fees apply, which are $10 per credit hour, as well as textbook fees. The last day of classes is January 11, 2017, which is 5 days before the Spring 2017 semester begins.
