Faculty profile: Andrew McCraw

 

Andrew McCraw originally joined Eastern New Mexico University in 2009 and returned in 2017 to help coach the Greyhounds offensive line. This year, he is also teaching human sexuality.

 

What’s your life like outside of work?

I hang out with my friends and family, go to the movies, and I like to travel.

 

What are your hobbies?

I like to attend sporting events and go to concerts.
 

What’s your ideal vacation?
The beach, no matter where, as long as there’s a beach.

 

What do you plan to do after you retire?

Travel and watch a lot of college football games. I want to travel to big stadiums and tailgate around the country.


Talk about your family, including pets

My mom is a social worker, and my dad is a teacher. I have three sisters. One of them is a nurse, and another one runs a daycare where my other sister also works. They all live in Lovington; one lives in Dallas. I have a dog named Dubs.

 

When school is out, what is your ideal relaxed day like?

Take a nap, sit in the wind and the shade, and enjoy the day.
