Getting married is an exciting and Important milestone in anybody’s life. It is the day for you to celebrate with your friends and family. It is a day to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter with your significant other, Oh the possibilities!

This also the time where you’re the most stressed. Party planning is already hard as it is, imagine how much more difficult wedding planning is! That’s why it is important to prep the night before. Here are 5 things to not forget on your special day.

1. MARRIAGE LICENSE

Don’t forget to pack your marriage license a night before, and make sure it gets to the venue with you! The marriage license is the single most important thing at your wedding other than the happy couple. It’s actually the star of the show. Without it being signed technically you aren’t married. You can pack this with your extra pair of shoes.

2. EXTRA PAIR OF SHOES

Before your big day you want to pack an extra pair of shoes. From all the dancing you might just get tired of your heels. If you are wearing a long wedding dress the shoes you change too shouldn’t matter as long as they are comfortable!

3. SAFETY PINS

Safety pins are vital on wedding days. You never know if your dress will accidently rip or if the zipper suddenly gets stuck. I’ve also seen a few occasions where brides have to pin their dress tail to the dress because it is too long and gets in their way when they are dancing. It’s always good to be prepared, and safety pins can do some extra heavy lifting in a pinch.

4. KEEP YOUR BRIDESMAIDS UPDATED

It is also important for your Maid of Honor and at least one other person to be updated with your time frames. It is immensely frustrating for people to be asking you what portion of the wedding is next. On your special day you should be focusing on having a blast and enjoying your family and friends.

5. HAND YOUR BOUQUET TO YOUR MAID OF HONOR

Lastly don’t forget to hand your bouquet to your bridesmaid once you walk down the aisle. By doing so your hands can be free to hold hands with your partner allowing your photographer to take beautiful pictures of the moment you guys say I do.

It is natural to want to have the perfect wedding day, but the best advice is to just let go and enjoy your special day!
